Who we are

StoryPages is a product of James Cook Media ("we", "us"). This policy covers the StoryPages marketing website at storypages.ai and the StoryPages application.

What we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Account data — name, email address, and password credentials you provide when registering.
  • Workspace content — the business descriptions, website content, images, and settings you create in the product.
  • Contact data you import or collect — the contact records captured by forms and funnels on sites you build, or imported by you. You are the controller of this data; we process it on your behalf.
  • Billing data — handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage data — technical logs and aggregate analytics used to operate and improve the service.

How we use it

To provide the service, to generate website content you request, to bill you, to provide support, to keep the platform secure, and to communicate service information. We do not sell personal data.

AI processing

Generating a website or campaign involves sending the brief and relevant workspace content to AI model providers so the content can be produced. We send what is necessary for the requested output.

Data you collect from your visitors

When someone submits a form on a site you built, that record belongs to you. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for the privacy notice shown on your own site. We act as your processor.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and workspace data while your account is active. You may export your contacts at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.

Cookies

The marketing site uses only what is necessary to operate and to measure aggregate traffic. The application uses a session cookie to keep you signed in.
